Did I mention he is dark? Aiden is such a dark character, which just adds to the allure of his character. He’s arrogant, dark, mysterious, headstrong, and infuriating. Elsa is headstrong and doesn’t depend on anyone, even though she follows closely to the rules and expectations from her aunt and uncle.Īiden–oof, the bad boy–is everything I ever want in a main male character. Sometimes it’s rare to see a female lead with a backbone when it comes to bullymances. She has a backbone that she doesn’t always show, but it’s evident she has one. Kent does an amazing job creating life-like and realistic characters.Įlsa is overall a great character. To me, characters make or break the story. I have read some of Kent’s work before, and I loved it. Honestly, it was one of the best books I have read recently. I can’t think of words to explain how good this book was.
